As notified last week, our data center will experience a complete cooling outage and a partial power outage due to a cooling upgrade project for Aurora during the week of May 8.

This outage requires all ALCF resources to be powered down before the upgrade starts and unavailable for the duration of the upgrade.
 
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, we will begin by powering down Cerebras, SambaNova, and Graphcore at 9 a.m. (CDT), and the Accounts and Project Management website will be shut down at 5 p.m. (CDT). 

Our other resources (Theta, Polaris, etc.) and services will be powered down on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 9:45 a.m. (CDT).

Based on the current schedule, we will begin bringing our systems back online on the morning of Friday, May 12, 2023. We'll send a notification as our resources return to service.
