With the retirement of Theta and ThetaGPU in December 2023, we have decoupled and reconfigured ThetaGPU to become a new system named Sophia. Sophia is scheduled to go into production on July 8th. Sophia’s two primary purposes will be to run JupyterHub instances and large language models. PBSPro will be the system’s scheduler. We’ll provide additional information about Sophia in the coming weeks.
