Student researchers are an integral part of the ALCF team. Every year, we host a number of students ranging from undergraduates to Ph.D. candidates to work alongside staff mentors on real-world research projects, gaining hands-on experience with some of the world’s most powerful supercomputers.
Through opportunities like DOE’s Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program and Argonne’s Student Research Participation (SRP) Program, ALCF students work on a wide variety of projects that cover everything from HPC system administration and data analytics to computational science and performance engineering.
