Dr. Umesh Unnikrishnan is a postdoctoral appointee in the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility with a background in computational fluid dynamics and high performance computing. His work at the ALCF focuses on the development of multi-physics scientific codes that are performant on emerging heterogeneous computing platforms.

Umesh received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering (2021) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his research focused on high-fidelity modeling of turbulent reacting flows using large scale simulations. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering (2016) from Georgia Tech and Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering (2014) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
