Shivam received his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (2016) and obtained his Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2022). His research interests lie at the intersection between data-driven modeling for fluid dynamics applications, GPU library development for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) acceleration, and high-performance computing. Currently, he works on developing data-based surrogate models for fluid flows in complex geometries using graph neural networks suitable for next-generation hardware. Additional research interests include developing lightweight algorithms for real-time flowfield estimation and system monitoring using data clustering strategies.
