Reet is a Postdoctoral Appointee with the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility. His research focuses on scalable data science, particularly on developing frameworks for compute-intensive scientific applications that leverage modern leadership-class supercomputers.

Reet received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Washington State University, where he was advised by Dr. Ananth Kalyanaraman. His dissertation explored scalable and efficient distributed frameworks for influence maximization. During his Ph.D., he worked as a research aide at ALCF, investigating novel architectures for traditional HPC workloads and parallelization strategies for distributed pretraining of large language models
