P.C. Shyamshankar is a systems architect and member of the operations group at the ALCF, specializing in containerization and confidential computing. 

Shyam holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University (2018), where his research involved the development of novel memory management techniques as part of language design for large-scale data processing systems. He subsequently served as a member of the technical staff at Galois, a defense R&D consultancy, before joining ALCF in 2024.
