Dr. Nwamaka Okafor is a postdoctoral appointee in the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF). Her research interests lie in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoTs, Data Analysis and Security and Privacy. Her work at the ALCF focuses on developing novel methods to analyze supercomputer logs, including Polaris and Aurora as well as developing robust and interpretable AI models to improve efficiencies and operations of supercomputing systems.

Nwamaka received her PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2022) from University College Dublin where her research focused on applying AI and IoTs in environmental monitoring. She holds a masters degree in Computer Forensics and Cyber Security from the University of Greenwich London. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Information Management Technology from Federal University of Technology Owerri and a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Nigeria.
