Geng Liu is a postdoctoral appointee in the LCF Leadership Computing Facility organization of Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on Extreme-Scale In-Situ Visualization and Analysis of Fluid-Structure-Interactions. Geng’s current project is a collaboration with Duke University. This project aims at the simulation and visualization of biological phenomena with the help of supercomputers. Geng received his BS in Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011, and he achieved MS at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. In 2021, he was awarded his PhD. in Mechanical Engineering at the City College of New York. Geng is experienced in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Lattice Boltzmann Method and parallel computing or programming.
