Next week—beginning Monday, October 20, and continuing through Friday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (CDT) each day—8200 nodes will be under reservation to support system debugging efforts and some large-scale runs. The nodes will be released if the reservation ends early.
To increase the number of nodes available to users in the prod and debug queues, we are decreasing the nodes in the legacy queue and moving them to the other queues. Legacy queue will have up to 1088 nodes, while the prod and debug queues will have up to 9536 nodes, with 8200 nodes reserved as stated above. As a reminder, legacy queue will have nodes running the older image. See https://docs.alcf.anl.gov/aurora/system-updates/#2025-10-13 for details.
