The HPC Forum's fall meeting will cover topics on challenges in making AI fully useful with a focus on real-world uses of AI in industry, science & energy
 

The HPC User Forum has opened registration for its upcoming meeting at Argonne National Laboratory on September 4-5.

The event will feature many leading experts, including several top HPC leaders and researchers from Argonne, DOE, Mayo Clinic, NVIDIA, BP, and AbbVie.

The program also includes updates from the event sponsors DDN, Intel, IBM, HPE, QuEra, and Lenovo.

The following is a summary of featured topics, sessions, and panels:

  • Real-world, large-scale AI use cases and examples in industry and science
  • Challenges in Making AI Fully Useful (hardware, software, data, models, etc.)
  • AI and HPC at Argonne
  • AI technologies panel
  • Site updates: Fermilab, ORNL
  • Integrated Resource Infrastructures (LBL, ANL)
  • Recent Hyperion Research AI market trends and study results

Small group tours of the ALCF Machine Room, ALCF Visualization Laboratory, and Argonne’s Advanced Photon Source will also be available during the event.
