Ethan Wong is a Postbaccalaureate Appointee for AI Automation and Reliability Services in the AI/ML group of Argonne's Leadership Computing Facility. Their primary work focuses on developing foundational software to support machine learning workloads on High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters. Prior to joining the LCF, Ethan contributed to MPICH, a high-performance MPI implementation, as part of Argonne's Mathematics and Computer Science division. They hold extensive interests in distributed systems, HPC, systems performance, and concurrency/parallelism.
Ethan received their B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago. In their spare time, Ethan is an avid contributor to free and open-source software projects.
