Networking improvements scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, through Friday, July 24, 2020, at Argonne National Laboratory may cause intermittent connectivity disruptions during normal business hours. If you experience problems while connecting to ALCF resources, please wait a few minutes before trying to reconnect. Disruptions may last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. To ensure operational excellence, Argonne's Business and Information Services division is working with the lab’s primary internet service provider Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) as they begin a nationwide upgrade. The high-performance fiber network is laying the foundation to support 400Gbps connectivity for the entire national laboratory system. The multiphase rollout is expected to be completed by 2023.
